No.F.17/6/2001/AR: - In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 2(a) of the Delhi Right to Information Act, 2001 (Delhi Act No.7 of 2001), the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby notifies the Authorities / Officers specified in the Annexure-I & Annexure-II appended hereto as "Competent Authority" for the purpose of the said Act in respect of the Departments and Autonomous Bodies / Local Bodies / Public Sector Undertakings under its control.
Provided, any of the officers notified as Competent Authority is on leave or his post is lying vacant, the Head of the Department / Administrative Secretary concerned will be deemed to be the Competent Authority.
Provided further that the information in respect of institutions / units / organizations / undertakings, etc. which are not listed in Annexure-I & Annexure-II shall be provided by the Competent Authority of the Department which has the administrative control over such institutions / units / organizations / undertakings etc.
